PLACER COUNTY, CA - -Today Assemblyman Kevin Kiley announced an initial set of endorsements for outstanding candidates running for school board in Placer County. Three seats on the Western Placer Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Im passionate about seeing young people prosper; Ive given my whole life to that end as a teacher. The task the district is charged with: educating our children. Concerns about school safety and unnecessary tax increases are two topics that Ive repeatedly heard about throughout my time campaigning door to door. To vote in the 2014 general election, voters had to register by October 20, 2014. This is a basic right that sadly can no longer be taken for granted.
